Our Mission Statement: The purpose of the Florida Special Arts Center is to seek the promotion of the performing and visual arts as well as the fostering of creative expression for persons with developmental disabilities. Its mission includes the training and internships of persons interested in working with the developmentally disabled populations and the fostering of performing and visual art based vocational opportunities.

• The Applause Program - a musical and performing arts program.
• The Expressions Program - a visual arts program.
• The Apprentice Program - professionals working with persons with developmental disabilities to seek employment opportunities.
• Sparks of Genius Program - a computer based cognitive training program.
• The Micro-Enterprising - an innovate project to encourage participants to develop business skills.
• Television and Editing Program - the production of cable network programming.
