Our Mission Statement: The purpose of the Florida Special Arts Center is to seek the promotion of the performing and visual arts as well as the fostering of creative expression for persons with developmental disabilities. Its mission includes the training and internships of persons interested in working with the developmentally disabled populations and the fostering of performing and visual art based vocational opportunities.

A True Lesson In Humanity the new documentary by acclaimed filmmaker Wolfgang Busch, which follows the artistic progression of the Florida Special Needs Color Guard.

We hope everyone out there enjoyed the holidays, and we wish all of you a very happy and prosperous 2009!

Well it's back to work. The Special Needs Color Guard has been practicing hard with coach Jacquelyn Sears to get ready for their next performance.

We have a lot of dates set for working the concession stands at Bank Atlantic Center coming up. We're always looking for volunteers so if you're available please don't hesitate to call. Main Telephone: (954) 721-1020


The Special Olympics fund raiser dinner at the Fontaine Bleau was an incredible evening for FLSAC. Emotional performances were given by Drew Solomon, The Florida Special Arts Center Choir, and The Special Needs Color Guard of America.
