Performances:
The Special Needs Color Guard of America (formerly known as
the Florida Special Needs Color Guard) has performed its artistic
program in many venues. Whenever this very special color guard
performs, there is "not a dry eye in the house." The
artistry, talent, and dedication of the Special Needs Color
Guard of America truly puts life in perspective. For the past
eight years, their message has echoed throughout the United
States and the world, making a positive difference in how society
views individuals with developmental disabilities.
The
Special Needs Color Guard of America and its very talented participants
are giving true hope to families of individuals who are newly
diagnosed with developmental disabilities such as Autism, Cerebral
Palsy, Attention Deficit Disorder, and Down Syndrome -- just
to name a few. These families are realizing that their very
special children can grow into their teen years and adulthood
being productive and respected members of our society.
The
Florida Special Arts Center has a weekly schedule of Choir practice,
Arts and Crafts, Color Guard practice and more. Please contact
Ellen Kleinert for an updated schedule of events. Don't forget
we are always in need of volunteers for our concession stand
events at the Bank Atlantic Center.
